Beauty Consultant

So I am an official Mary Kay Beauty Consultant! I am very excited about this adventure. I will be graduating with my Masters in a few weeks and I am one of those people that have to have something going on all of the time or I go crazy. I realized that I will have a lot of spare time on my hands after school ends and I want to wait a few years for my Doctorate, so I was introduced to this opportunity and I am very eager to start. If you are interested in hosting a party (girls night out, mother daughter make overs, mini martini facials, wedding parties, etc...) and want free products, please let me know. By the way, the make up is great and is the only thing I wear. I used to think it was too expensive, but it is actually less than most superstore makeups and way better. It is truly good for your skin.

Cohen's Bday Fun

Here are the pictures that we were able to get with the grand kids. Aren't they cute. These are priceless since it took a lot of work to get these 2 pictures. Cohen was not interested and very active while Abby just kept looking around and poor Kyleigh would just freeze until the picture was taken. These will be the last group pictures for a very long time.

Bath Time Drama

So the kids are not used to having a jet tub and on our vacation, they wanted to take a bath the moment they saw it. So while Shaun and I were unloading the car and unpacking, they took a bath. Well, shortly after Kay comes in and tells me she needs me FAST! As I walk down the hallway, all I can see is bubbles everywhere. Apparently as they were washing their hair, they used a little too much soap and with the combo of the jets, well, lets just say it was a ton of bubbles. They had a blast in them.

Horseback Riding

So we took the kids on a horseback ride. It was interesting. Kyleigh was way more scared than Cohen. She is such a drama queen that she did not want to ride when she found out that she had to wear a helmet. Don;t they look like little English children.

Piney Shores Vacation

So my dad gave me a great bday present and we used it gladly. We went on a 4 day vacation to Piney Shores Resort in Lake Conroe. It was a very nice getaway. The kids never fought and we really got some relaxing time. The hardest thing for us was to slow down. We are so busy in our everyday activities, that it took some time to slow down.

Memorial Day Fun

Here are some pictures from our Memorial Day fun. Some of our family and friends came over to hang out and BBQ. As we get older, we realize that we like to just hang out on holidays rather than fight the crowds at popular activities.
