Happy 11th Anniversary to Me!!!

So Shaun and I went out on Saturday night and had a blast. We were supposed to go out with some friends but he ended up having to work, so Shaun and I decided we were still going. I am glad we did. We danced about 50 times and I was totally wore out the next morning. I will say we have some interesting pictures!

LIttle Photographers

So my kids love to take pictures. Here are a few they did of the yard and well, themselves. I think they might have a shot at it.

Mom and My New Gadget

Mom and I worked very hard on a new gadget for my classroom. It woks great and is custom made versus a store bought one that would not have the great touches and love put into it. So here is is.

Good Daddy

So I was unable to take off since I am so new into my job (actually I could, however I did not want to use one of my days:) and Cohen needed shots. Soooo Shaun volunteered to take off and take him. Well, Shaun said he is never doing that again. He hated to see him in pain and watch someone apply pain to him. He received 5 shots and I have heard that at least 10 times from little man and big man. Such a good daddy:):)

Here is a quick pic of Abby and me at my 2nd or 3rd cousins baby shower:)

Babysitting Abby

So we got the pleasure to watch Abby while Marc and Anna went to a football game (where TSU was creaming ASU at one point; I'm sure TSU won). She had a blast with Kyleigh. We went on a walk and she fell asleep imediately, then woke up fast and ready for food and more sleep. Once she got food in her and some bottle, she was ready to play again. She went down around 7. She is totally on her own schedule. Here are a few pics we took while she was here.

House Updates

So here is how the house is looking. We have painted so much over the past few months, I do not want to paint for a very long time. Our last project was doing Cohen's room. He is in love with race cars and dirt bikes so we decided to do the whole thing in his theme.

And yet another hairdo!

So here is the newest look. I really like the color, now I just need it to GROW GROW GROW!!! I realized I had to do something when my hubby told me nicely that I was looking a little run down with work and being sick. It felt really good to treat myself and get pampered. (Totally not my thing if you know me.)

School Makes you Sleepy

So here is what school does to my little one. How nice if I could do that; sleep with a sandwich and a drink in my lap. Imagine having no worries in the world?

Here are some pictures my friend put up on Facebook. I cannot believe this is me. One funny thing is that the last picture with the green and white shirt, that is Shaun's shirt that I took from him. I could not even imagine we would be married and have 2 kiddos at that time. There truly is a plan for everyone. We are fortunate to have beaten the odds and gotten married at 18 years old. This year we will be celebrating 11 years.

The last time Shaun and I went out was with our friends, Annie and David. We went and enjoyed dinner at The Gristmill, in Gruene. Let me tell you though, we waited for 1.5 hours just to get seated. Food does not seem that great at 11:30 at night. By the way, my hair is already different from this picture. I will try to post some pics soon. Can you guess what is different?

Isn't he getting big? Where does our time go?

So here is how my classroom looked before I got to do anything. The next post shows the final product.

Second Update

Ok, so I wanted to get out of supervising adults and back to supervising and teaching, so I accepted a position with Gonzales ISD as a Pre-K teacher. I have been working there all summer, working on getting my room ready so I have a few pictures of the finished product. It really works well. I have a great team to work with and an awesome TA that is with me the entire day. This is a great perk since most districts do not give each class a TA. I have the cutest and most adorable kids. I know this will be a great year. I do miss all of the girls from the center and will definitely stay in touch, as I already have.

Sorry So Long

Ok, so sorry I have not posted in forever, but my life has not exactly been calm. So here goes a few new posts. First, I have officially graduated:) YEAH!!! Thanks to my close family and friends, I had a great evening. Thank you all for the lovely gifts and encouragement throughout this last year. I know it was hard on my family, especially my hubby. I think he was way more excited than me. I also know that I want to go back and get my PhD. So here are a few pictures from grad day. By the way, Shaun bought me the coolest present of all, the TSU charm from James Avery. Can you find me in that crowd?

Free Puppies to anyone that wants one. They are very cute and lovable and need a home. One's name is Buttercup and the other is Daisy. Just let me know.

New Doo

So I decided to go totally bold and change my hair do for a professional, modern look. I will have to get used to it, but I think it looks good. It will be easy for my new job, thats for sure. One crazy thing is that I had to take the kids with and my hairdresser said she had toys Cohen could play with, so he played and he ended up breaking her toy. I was freaking out that she was going to mess up my hair since he broke the toy and to top it off, you cannot purchase the toy; her daughter was given it when she got her tonsils taken out. OUCH!!!

DENTIST OFFICE VISIT

So the kids get a clear health for their teeth. No cavaties and they were complimented on their brushing technique:) Surprising, Cohen sat and did so well they were able to do both kids in one visit.
